Horsebox grooms door

I've just recently purchased a little horsebox for myself (yay!) It's old but reliable and I love it. My only issue is that the grooms door is locked and the woman who sold it to me said she never had a key for it. I was wondering who the best person to contact to get it open would be, can a normal locksmith do this or does it have to be a mechanic or something?

When i lost the key to a caravan door, the locksmith just gave me a big bag of keys to try and said there would be one in there that fit it. There was, and he then cut me a new one. So I would talk to the locksmith first.

Have a close look on the barrel above the slot you put the key in. Many of these locks are of the type that has a number stamped on there. Give this number to the locksmith to cut you one.

If you know anyone else with a box ask to try their key.
even the ones for the diesel filler cap may work.
