i have found the same, that transits dont tend to go more than 7ft (but there are some depending on the type of back) and i have been to look at 2 boxes that are 7ft and claim to take 16hh horses!
im confused now as was going to bid on one on ebay tomorow thats 7ft and my mare is 16hh
My 3.5ton has 7'1 inch headroom and takes my 16.2hh just would like a 7'6 next time round, but a 16hh should fit into 7'1ft headroom without too much of a prob, my boy is quite "tall" hence why would like more headroom next time round!!
thats good to hear! i think its about personal preference, aslong as she isnt bending down and has enough room to balance, plus she would bein on her own
I have a 3.5t for sale with the IW container on the back. It has the same headroom as the 505 trailer 7' 2" but is about 4" wider and a bit longer, plus of course it is the same width front to back and doesn't 'taper' at the front like the trailer so is more roomy overall. PM me if you want details
