Horsebox hire needed Devon/Somerset

Hi,

I am trying to find a horsebox to hire for 1 or 2 days, non hgv, to fit 1 x 17.2hh horse, within reasonable dstance of Taunton. Any suggestions please?

huish horseboxes in tedburn st mary hire a box,

theres also a company in north devon. near minehead i think, both are actually cheap to hire, but you have a pay a stupid deposit (ie hundreds!)

Thanks. Anybody have any idea what mile per gallon fuel consumption is with a horsebox? I need to get it to North Wales and back!

There is a trailer hire place in taunton but dont know if they do one big enough for 17.2hh I will find out for you.

I'm in Wiltshire and ended up going to Reading to hire a lorry for last weekend. We did about 350 miles in it (200 with 2 horses & kit on board and 150 empty) and it used £60 worth of diesel.
