Well my horsebox insurance and recovery has come up for renewal and I think it's quite a lot of money for a 3.5t 2004 box. It's come in at £415 - insured for any driver over 25 and the recovery is with ERS, so good recovery and insurance done via Shearwater.

So I've been online getting quotes this morning and 4counties has come up the cheapest for insurance at £160 - that's insuring the box for £7500 for just myself and my OH, and for only using it for transporting my own horses, which is fine. I had a look for recovery separately and can get recovery with OHTO for about £140 and it seems like quite a good recovery scheme as I rarely go far.
Does anyone have any experience of either of the above companies and can either recommend them or tell me they're rubbish?

Thanks.
