Nissan navarra has finally died - 2nd engine that's gone t**s up. Have decided that it will be more sensible to get a 7.5t horsebox and just run around in a small car.

Can any of you horsebox drivers out there recommend a good insurance company for horseboxes? I'd also want recovery as well.

thanks

Mine is a 3.5t but I was recommended Anthony Evans by my sis in law who has a bigger box. They include breakdown as standard too. Their contact details are 02476595812.

we got ours through www.academyinsurance.co.uk

not the cheapest but we have full breakdown and any body can drive it over the age of 25. the service was very good, and nothing to question in any of the small print for the lorry or breakdown

Another vote for Anthony Evans here. I've not had to claim but I've had recovery out for a small problem with my lorry & the service was great. You can get a quote on line... give their web stie a try.
