My box was due for renewal at the end of May.
Its a elderly 3.5 that does few local miles and is kept in a locked yard undercover, only ever driven by myself, very occasionally my partner so low risk. Don't want break down or legal etc just basic essential cover.

I stupidly didn't read the whole renewal letter and only got to the bit about milage- Please advise, assumed auto renew but it didn't (and yes it does say that in the letter) so I'm now not insured.

I'm with Anthony Evans and just have been for years, I haven't compared. But they have been good with my one claim and a couple of breakdowns (realise you don't need the latter).

Im with NFU who came out the cheapest and didn't charge extra because we made a large claim when a tree fell on our horsebox and went right through the cab and wrote it off. Claim was with a different company.

I'm with equesure who charged me 206 for just the insurance for my 3.5t ( I also have breakdown but that was extra).

Those of you with A plan, it might be worth double checking who your breakdown is provided by if you use theirs as it used to be ERS but isn't anymore and the company they were now using instead doesn't have a great reputation but I've never personally dealt with them, only ERS so can't say if the new company justifies their reputation but might be worth checking.
