Hi,after being let down badly by one horsebox builder I am still looking for a good practical horsebox.
Does any one know or have dealt with 'Profile coachbuilders' or 'Empire Horseboxes' or 'Ultimate Horseboxes' or any other horsebox builder in the North West/midlands area.
Any help VERY much appriciated
Thanks.

jm horseboxes is in catforth (nr preston). Kmow nothing about him but always seem to have a few about...

Bretherton Coachworks - we have one we bought second hand and it is excellent!!! Very good layout with underflor storage, and tack locker not under horse's heads - have a look at their website.

Do you have one? I originally came across them by accident. Was looking to have one built - went to see them - loved them, but couldn't afford at the time! Eventually spotted one for sale second hand and went all the way from Scotland to 'Surrey to view!!

Was quite expensive for 2nd hand 7.5 ton, but I have never regretted it - had it 2 years now!!

They are so good, I don't think they come on the market very often.

BTW I am NOTHING to do with them - mine was a private sale second hand.

To be honest - mine was one of the first ones they did (built in 2003 or 4 I think), and they have made a lot of improvements since then!! However, I wouldn't swop mine for anything - that is, unless I could get a NEW one!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll second the Bretherton lorries. We had one built last September. The finish is as good as, and better than some of the more well known makes but cheaper
