I have a trailer , but im thinking a horsebox maybe better ?Some thing with day living and a toilet would be nice ?Whats your opinions and how often do you use your box, and did you use it more when you bought it ?
Thank-you

I had the same dilema as you. I wanted a horsebox but couldn't justify having three vehicles on the road (4 x 4 we need, car I need and horsebox) so I went for an equitrek trailer.

I have to say its fab so far (only had it about a month) and I'm pleased I went for that instead of the box. It has everything I need without the cost of running a box. The other things I took into consideration was the weight carrying issues.

I had the other dilemma I only had a little car and couldn't justify the expense of both a 4x4 and a trailer, and I would still have had to sit my trailer test anyway. I went for a 7.5tn horsebox with living (nothiong fancy) that I sat my class 2 for. Best thing I did I just love my wee box and I use it just as much as I would have used the trailer, plus work commuting would have been so much more expensive in 4x4. Tax on the horsebox is generally less than half that of my friends 4x4, it was a no brainer for me.

Lorry nicer and more practical than a trailer you could look at a equitrek with living but its a expensive option as you need a big 4x4 to tow one safely...
