Horsebox re-spraying costs - Oxfordshire area

Does anyone have any experience of costs to re-spray a GRP 7.5 ton horsebox or can recommend someone who won't charge the earth within easy reach of Oxfordshire/Berkshire? No fancy paint colours or decals required... TIA.

I'm having mine done at the moment, £270 including primer, rust proofing, rubbing down and respraying. Also charged me £100 for welding by a specialist on the roof and the side (about 4 " each area). Has been in over 5 weeks, the chap is not charging me much as he knows me and he's doing it for 30 mins every now and then at the end of the day when he's fixed the cars he's had in.

I was about to say that is very cheap, then i read it's a trailer. I suspect mine will be way more expensive than that as it's a 25ft 7.5ton lorry

Not sure it’s very helpful but I was quoted £2-2.5k mates rates to do a 3.5t van conversion (again nothing fancy)

I had my trailer professionally sprayed and it cost £1800. So you are talking a lot more than that.

I paid 3.5 k a couple of years ago for a two tone metallic finish …

£2.5-3.5k for something simple. Unique Coachworks do some lovely lovely work.
