Take a good mechanic with you to view it. Due to the change in law as to what people are now allowed to drive many old & tired vans have been converted into 3.5 ton lorries & are being sold at a premium. These conversions are only as good as the donor vehicles & many aren't very good. Don't be fooled by a nice new paint job, a mechanic can see through the 'window dressing' & advise you if the vehicle has any hidden problems. Good Luck
 
Payload and proof! Take it for a test drive, you can tell a quality conversion when you see one i have seen an 03 plate 7.5tonne looks fab from the outside and my god it when you have a proper look its attrocious. A mechanic can tell you if the vehicle is in good order, maintenance wise for the vehicle its pretty much similar to a car as a small van is serviced and maintained by your local garage!
