Took 2 of our horses out in our horsebox for the first time at around 5:00PM yesterday to a lesson around 25 minutes drive away. By the time we'd got there both horses were sweating quite badly and were very hot.
The lorry has 3 windows in the horse area which were all open to allow air through but that is all there is.
Is there anything we could do that would make some sort of significant difference? They're coming on holiday with us in a few weeks and the trip will be significantly longer (about 3 hours) so we could do with sorting something out pretty soon.
Thanks all.

We have 3 windows either side that draws a nice breeze through and a roof vent. It'll always be warm but it's certainly better than our first lorry that was like a cooker! I have known people before leave the jockey door open into the living area (horse behind one of the actual dividing doors so can't wander through!) and leave living area and cab area windows open, you can get a good breeze through there but probably not advised for H and S reasons....
