cant decide wich box to get? internal height is 7ft5 in cheval liberty wich is good as my horse is 17hh. but the 506 is the same internal height as the 511,wotever that is? if anybody has these boxes please tell me how theyve worked out for you, thanks

really happy with 511 - can highly recommend and it was interested in cheval too. Horse is 17hh and loads of room and light airy - loads into this better i find. Nice quiet box to tow not as squeeky and creeky like old ifor

didnt realise the 506 was the same height as the 511?? I would go for an Ifor over a Cheval especially for a big horse. IMO the build quality is bettr.

thankyou. it was actually a 511 i was thinking of initially, however my horse has room in 505 width and legnth, just short of headroom. i was really supprised when the guy told me they were the same internal height now, i thought what is the point of that then?! but apparently the internal height is bigger than in a 505? does your horse have enough head room? infact I know an 18.2 who was sqwezed into a 510! the tips of his ears were flopped over on the roof when he put his head up! but you couldnt do that with a 511 now

i was surprised too and just went for 511 as wasn't that much dearer and thought horse could make use of extra room and if travelling 2 horses. He has tonnes of room but is ISP but more TB really. Loads of head room.

Main benefit of the old 510 was width as well as height.
My old hunter was only 16.2 but built like a brick outhouse and just wouldn't fit in a 505, the only alternative to a lorry was the 510, which he travelled in quite happily with another 16.2 mate (but the only thing that would pull it was my friend's Disco!)

Neither

I have a Richardson Ultra Supreme and it is fab. Internal Height 7'8" - loads of room, actually all the internal dimensions seem huge & horsey has loads of room, would highly recommend.

Ifor williams any day, the build quality is much better and they last for years (ours is 13 years old and still going strong). Just take a look around at shows, there is always more ifor williams trailers than any others . . . what does that tell you

humm 50million flies eat s*it, doesn't mean it's any good! lol

I don't like ifors external is thin wood, and internal partition is thin wood with polystyrene, don't know much about cheval...

Haha - I would have to agree, what does it tell me - tells me that people just follow a fashion. I actually hate ifors. Tinny, IMO not well made at all and if ever you break down in one and need to get your horse off, you have to lead it out into the road, why on earth the ramp is on the side it is I can't work out only that it's probably ok for the Europeans
