Question on behalf of a friend..

what do the wrapped bales of Horsehage usually cost?? How much do they weigh and is there a particular one she should get for a welsh section b, that hasnt had laminitis recently but it is suspected she has had it in the past with a previous owner?

They used to be £6+ when I was buying them, but I have seen them advertised at £7 a bale now!

I think they usually weigh somewhere between 20 and 25kg. They market both the Timothy (purple) and High Fibre (blue) types as suitable for laminitics and I have used both types on our old laminitic pony with no problems.

£6.90 around here for the blue and purple one.
My horse only likes the purple one as he is spoilt!

Oops I got this wrong! £6.15 a bale for the purple one - I bought a couple yesterday. Methinks that is quite a bargain. We are in Shropshire.
