Does anyone know of any places that make this as we have just had to make the heartbreaking decision to have our old man put to sleep after xmas.
He has been blind for the best part of 8yrs now and has coped really well but has now been diagnosed as being in the early stages of cushings as well.
We now feel his quality of life is starting to fade so want to do right by him and he will be laid to rest in the field alongside his long time travel/field/showjumping partner who we sadly lost just over a year ago to epilepsy.
He has been a major part of my daughters life since she was about 12, about 14/15yrs and she is davastated by this so i would like to get her a keepsake of him so she can feel she still has a part of him close.

My friend who is a jewellery designer made me a beautiful bracelet a few weeks ago, after I had to have two of my old horses pts. I can give you her web address if you would like to pm me (haven't asked her if it's okay to put it on the open forum yet). I have some pics too which I sent to MizElz. My friend is much much cheaper than the places mentioned above, but her stuff is gorgeous.

Have to say, my horsehair bracelet is one of the nicest bits of jewellery I have
