My boy's just been picked up :-( Feeling a bit numb... I talked utter gibberish to his (now) owner, couldn't cry until the trailer pulled away and accidentally forgot to clean his filthy fleece so he looked like a hobo sob.

I've had him over a year but really bonded with him - he's such a character. Not quite sure what to do with myself.

Trying to console myself with the fact he's gone to live with his old owners in Dorset where his headshaking never bothered him. Plus he'll be back with his pals a bit like black beauty returning home.

I know just how you feel. When Fred Rockets new owners came to take him home I gibbered too! I burst into tears when they drove off and I could see FR trying to turn his head round to ask me 'why?' I could hear him whinny till the trailer disappeared onto the road at the bottom of the drive. God how it cut me up. He went to a fantastic home where he was loved to bits and ended up teaching all the children in his neighbourhood how to ride. He even became a PC celebrity!!!!! Still hurt though. Big hugs to you. M.xx
