For the first time as long as I can remember I am now horseless and as much as I am enjoying the break I feel really strange and even stranger wearing normal clothes and not looking and smelling like a scruff every day. Mum still has her 4 but its wierd not actually having one of my own.

I was horseless for about 10 weeks last year after my old boy was pts. It was very strange not being in a rush all the time and not needing to get wet and muddy every day lol. Have to say I missed it like crazy, but then we horsey people are all mad

I'm horseless, but then I have pretty much always been horseless!!
When I did have one in Spring this year, I loved it, and when she went, I did miss going down the yard, and catching up with the gossip!

Even though I still go down there once a week for lessons, its not the same.

Maybe one I'll be back in my OWN saddle on my OWN horsey!!

Im horseless since may for the first time in 14 years. Cant say im enjoying it much.
Its nice to be able to do things and have abit of extra money but its just not the same.
Start looking for another in the new year so hopefully wont be for much longer

I was horseless for nearly 5 years when I got my loan hihlan in the summer. When he had to go back I felt lost and didn't realise how much I missed having my own. However looks like I'm buying a lovely 2 yo once christmas is out of the way

I've been horseless for nearly 6 years now. I didnt want to get a horse when i was out of juniors and then i moved far far away for Uni and never went home.
I miss it so SO much

I have been lucky enough to find someone who let me help reschool their ex racer, but he is lame now so i have to make do with looking at pictures of my ponies with their loan riders on facebook.

Just saving up and waiting for the day i earn enough money and have enough time to buy my ultimate dream horse
