I have one as had a bit/ bridle fitting clinic and that was recommended as you buy the parts separately! My pony has a mixture of cob/ full. It’s lovely quality and will be getting one for my 3 year old soon😊

My horse came with one, it fit her beautifully and I really liked it however she rubbed her head on her leg and it snapped so not sure about the quality/resilience.

I'd probably get another but the website puts me off, seems very anti-customer-service, I think very hard to get a refund if it doesnt fit so might be better to get a fitter out.

I bought one last year as my bridle (in Avatar) didn't fit well. I was worried about getting the measurements right but actually was OK. The tricky bit was choosing the correct headpiece as the 'hangers' need to be at the correct angle for the shape of your horse. I took pics of my horses head and sent them, got short list of recommendations. You can get refunds but they are very fussy about any marks so you can't do the buckles up - it all stays in place using the keepers. I was lucky and bought 2 shop soiled headpieces (I couldn't see any mark!). This meant I could do them up to be sure. I sent pictures again for confirmation and got refund and bought new (purely as shop soiled items were the wrong colour). It did mean I paid some extra postage but thought it was worth it. I found the customer service very good and would buy again. Lovely quality leather and the mix & match on sizing means you can get the fit right. I have a mix of cob & full size. You do see parts for sale on FB Marketplace if you are sure what you need.

I've got 2, the leather is lovely and soft, it's perfect for one of mine,as you can mix and match ( I have full headpiece, xl browband and cob cheekpieces)

I love mine, my horse used to snatch the reins even on a long rein, i knew my Sabre didn’t fit as despite having a larger than necessary browband it butted up against his ears. I got a fitter out as I wasn’t comfortable choosing the head piece on my own. As soon as I changed the bridle he stopped snatching the reins. I love the quality of it, too

Several of my friends have them and are very happy with them. I'm just sending off head photos to them to make sure I've got the right headstall in mind.

We had 2 of ours fitted for them. No issues with quality and they do seem comfortable, just wish the throat lash didn't look so weird!

I have a few and they are all lovely, great leather and horses very happy in them. my instructor hates it tho, she thinks they are the ugliest-looking bridles!

I have the Saturn, lovely quality leather, fussy mare seems quite happy in hers. Horse snapped headpiece so I had to order a new one. Came in a few days.

I would probably only get one if it was fitted by someone...because the website scares me! You can't return anything if its the wrong size if you mark it in any way...far too stressful! And sounds like most people end up with a mix of sizes! Sounds a faff to me.

I had a bit and bridle fitter come out that someone had recommended. I didn't realise she 'worked' for horsemanship saddlery.
I contacted her and she has told me that my boy should fit the same size in everything so I won't need to have different sizes in everything.
I'm hoping she is right!

It's not a faff to end up with a well fitting bridle. My horse has a mix of sizes, because of the shape of his head. But his comfort is important, so it was worth measuring before ordering and being careful trying it on.

I agree, its just the website scares me in case I marked the pieces and they refuse to refund/exchange!

There's always the option to ditch the noseband and have a double-buckle throatlash for something more normal-looking. (Pic from the HS website.) Or if you want to keep the noseband, get a double bridle headpiece and attach the double-buckle throatlash that way.

I have two of the bridles - the 'hunting' Orion, which is no longer available but was made with thicker, coarser leather, and a Saturn. The Orion needs regular conditioning to stop the leather getting a bit tough, but the Saturn is lovely and soft.

I've got two bridles from them and had to send some parts back (I ordered multiple as I couldn't decide off the website), no issue with refund - all she asks is that you don't put the buckles through the holes as it marks the leather.

I've had my bay mare's bridle for 3 years and it is still as good as new, been worn in torrential rain (as pictured) and never stiff, always been super soft supple leather from day one. My chestnut's bridle has hardly been used as we only backed her late last year and then turned her away so no wear on that one yet. I bought a couple of brow and nosebands for both bridles so that I can swap them, depending on the occasion. The browbands just button press in to place so are very simple to swap.

I bought a headpiece for my mare who was uncomfortable in every other bridle i tried and i tried a lot!. I sent photos over of her head/ears and they advised they best style for me. It is the only headpeice she doesnt headshake in.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again
