Hi everyone, Its the first time i have posted on hear. Your help would be much appreciated. I am looking for a cob 15h plus to use as an allrounder ( don;t want a kick along plod ).I have found this mare advertised on horsemart with a video. Call me silly if you like i can;tmake my mind up if this girl is unlevel in front and hind or is it just the way she moves??? my friend said definately not right another said could just be the way she moves????????? what do you think?

can you what surface it is on? to me it is muddy very wet and the mare looks to be struggling, however it does say it is open to a vet, so go and have a look dont pull the mare to pieces, before you have even seen it.

I wasn't pulling it to pieces. I do like the look of her! and as i said don't want a dobbin. I just couldn't quite make my mind up thats why i asked the question. The surface does look a little bumpy but she does look a little uneven. I might ask the seller if they could do me a short vid of her trotting on a different surface as i do not want to travel all the way to yorkshire to have a wasted journey.

I think she's unlevel, but could have bilateral lameness or could just be a bit stiff. It could also be a choppy action that she has.

For what it is worth I think there are much nicer horses out there for that money. I don't like her.

I am also 'unsure' about this dealer, sorry.

Definitely looks uneven to me, don't like the way it moves at all, in canter as well. Plus dealers often put an age at 12, they are difficult to age after this. I would look for something else for sure.

The name of the place also rings alarm bells but not sure why, pretty sure I've heard the name before on another forum.

Thank for your reply Mayflower. I am just wanting a fun coloured cob if you know of any. Max age 12 -min 5 15 -15.2. I am on a limited budget so thought this girl might have been worth a look.

Why didn't i spot this one before!! Its just out of my budget but will call the seller 2moz to see what they would be willing to take for her. Don't want to waste anyones time by going to see her only to find i don't have enough money!

Someone on this forum has posted tonight about a new cob they've just bought. She says in her post that they had some other very nice ponios for sale. Hang on and I'll go see if I can find the thread.........

Do it - I love this one! Always worth asking and if she is on for £3k I suspect they will take a little bit less.
Do keep us posted on your search though.

If its in your budget and you like it then go have a look, as has been said it is blowing a gail and the horse is trying to work through mud. As for the dealer, take a look at my sigi the bay came from her - hows he doing now??
Never out of the top 3 in any discipline affiliated - his target this year is hoys! Never had a minutes bother with him and i've had him since he was rising 4
Dealers are dealers they all take a risk when buying horses so in my opinion one is no different from the other especially at this price.
