horsequest question

They won't be more than 3 weeks as thats when the ad lapses anyway. They do get shot down the page VERY quickly so if you are looking and find one you like thats say 20horses in - chances are in its only been on there for a week or so.

Or even much further!!! I know someone whose ad after 3 days was shoved down to something rediculous like 127th due to there being so many low level eventers about! So i wouldnt dismiss anything, thinking its an old ad and probably sold.

For sellers - if you edit or add another pic to your ad, then it gets moved back upto the top btw

I didn't remove an advert once after the horse was sold, partly out of interest and partly because I thought it would expire any hour. I was still getting phone-calls at least 6 weeks after selling.

I was interested because I rang about 'something' that was advertised for sale on horsequest and listened to the reason for selling.

I was quite interested in the 'something' but as someone once suggested - I then googled the number to discover that a similar (though not the same) 'something' had been advertised for sale (by the same seller) with the exact same reason for selling.

This makes it all rather 'odd'.

I was therefore curious to try to find when the first advert had been placed but it sounds like its not possible to discover.

adverts are usually on for 5 weeks as that is what you pay for as a seller, worth a call but people have a tendancy not to mark as sold
