Any feedback on this company ? have you placed rug orders with them ? please feel free to PM me any info good or bad!

I'm feeling a bit unsure as have never heard of this company and I have (maybe rather foolishly?!) placed an order for a rug from them on Monday. Today I phone them to ask which company mails it to me and was told that ' the rug I have ordered is not in stock' as it is expensive and the makers make them to order!! - (I've used the make of rug for 15 years and never had a problem in getting hold of them! and the rug is not overly expensive!!).

They have said it will take 7- 10 days and when I ordered the rug from the website it said that there were 5 available!- It didn't say that the item has to be back ordered.

I'm thinking of phoning up for a refund tomorrow- unless anyone out there can persuade me otherwise and that they are perfectly legit!.. Sorry for the essay but I'm rather confused!

Also have had a look on the rug manufacturers website and it doesn't mention this company as being an official supplier .

What do you think? (maybe I'm just being a worrier!)

I ordered rugs from them around this time last year. They seemed to have a great range of stock and their prices were certainly competitive. However I ended up having to cancel the order after they kept shifting the delivery date - my horse was cold!! and I couldn't wait any longer.

I think this is the company a friend told me about - they were selling very good quality rugs (tho I'd never heard of the make, Everest, very similar to GFS rugs quality) at up to 40% off if ordered before 1st October. I ordered 2 and they arrived within 3 days and I'm pleased as punch with them. Fab fit, fab price (6foot h weight winter turnout, £40!).
 
I was sent a middle weight hood when I asked for a lightwieght one, when I sent an email asking why I got the rudest email back. I never sent it back as I can probably use it, and I didn't fancy my chances getting my money back.

I will never use them again.
 
runs screaming in opposite direction...................! I've used them and they are a total nightmare. I did have some alternative phone numbers which they don't publish. I'll see if I can find them again. The price was good the product was as described but I waited months.

I have opted for a refund and cancelled the order this morning as was told the rug won't turn up until next week!. I will go and buy the rug locally at the weekend me thinks!!.

There are some seriously bad stories here though!

Note to self- I mustn't buy from companies on the internet that I have never heard of !!

I had to get Trading Standards involved to get my money back from them and the MD sent me an email telling me I shouldn't read the slandorous rubbish I read on internet forums, LMFAO!

They are shite. Used to be ok but as someone else said, if you can wait years for your stuff and then it be the wrong stuff anyway, go ahead....
 
Thanks again for your comments!!-- Update- I've now got my refund after 2 phone calls in one day!, sending an email giving them a time deadline , and also left them a message. I then phoned trading standards as well and funnily enough about 10 minutes after that I received a phonecall and confirmation email to say I have been refunded!!. I really had to put the pressure on though to get the refund and needless to say I've learnt my lesson not to use companies that I have never heard of!......
 
Eugh!!!! Another 'fan'lol!!!

I waited months for a neck cover to arrive, I already had the rug but where I bought that from didn't do the hood so I found these guys and the price and delivery period sounded gret and that they had them in stock - brilliant!!! But no, it must have been about 2 months till I got this through after emails, letters....
