horses 9th birthday?

My horse recently turned nine years old so a friend and I took him and his buddy out for a day on the beach which he loves, and so do we !! He had a blast galloping around and jumping over stuff which is what he enjoys to do but doesn't get much of an opportunity because he's used for dressage. Maybe it is childish, he doesn't know it's his birthday but it was great to do something different and fun for everyone !! Maybe do something outside your usual routine that your horse will enjoy, a nice surprise haha !!
 
Mine turns 9 next week :)

I had planned to bid on a beautiful bright blue saddle cloth and bandages matchy matchy set on eBay, but it's already reached £60 with days to go and I'm unwilling to spend that on what is essentially a second hand set!

I will have to have a look in the local tack shop -and buy a bag of apples too as they are her favourite
 
Beach/forest ride? My horse loves going to these places with her pal, something different so exciting. Also may something special in his feed, maybe a carrot/apple or two;)
