just wondering how you guys that are doing the leaving cert or GCSEs manage riding after school ?
Do you just leave your horses in the fields until the weekend or do you ride after school and then do homework and study?
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what i'm going to do with my fella when the dark evenings comes:confused:

When I did my leaving cert I rode my boy at weekends and gave him a lunge during the week - 1/2 evenings depending on my workload. However, he enjoyed that routine.
I used to lunge with a torch, not ideal but he got used to the idea fairly quickly.

Could you rig up some builder's lights or something to allow you to lunge in the evenings?

Last summer I did my GCSE's and I had my mare to ride etc as well as revision. I managed to fit it in fine and found that riding and spending time with Bella made me concentrate more when I did my revision after I'd been to see her. I think you'll manage to fit everything in :) Good luck!

I've just done my GCSE's over summer and going into my 3rd year of them. I have always managed to find time to go and do my horse. There are some nights that it just isn't possible, I'm on part livery. I manage at least 3 weekdays and both weekend days. It was sometimes late nights after i finished all homework but I always managed it.:)

Didn't have a horse whilst doing my GCSE's but I am now doing my a levels and I fit in fine, I manage to ride at least 3 times in the week and both days at the weekend. As someone already said I also find I concentrate better after to being to the yard :)
