Just need to let off some steam and hopefully I can relax...........sorry for the self pity just needed to say it somewhere.

Emergency vet out to the 4 yr old tb tonight, she already has one eye with no sight due to an accident causing the optic nerve to become detached, she has kept it for cosmetic reasons but its useless to her really.
Tonight her good eye was huge and swollen and effectively she was blind as it was barely even open!!
Some how, the world of tb's still amazes me, she has managed to get her eye full up with mud and some grass!! And it was not for coming out, fully wedged into under her bottom eyelid and smeared over her eyeball. Weeping and puffy and swollen :-(

Anyhow, vet sedated her as she is a bugger to deal with and we need to protect this only working eye as much as poss, its now cleaned out and fully flushed out, stain shows no damage to the eyeball itself thank goodness. So check on her tomorrow (she is now in box as she cant see hardly so not safe with others in field) it should have opened up alot and be far less swollen.

Fingers crossed xxxxxxxx

Thanks just needed to get this off my chest.

Oh dear, poor girly - they do get themselves in a mess don't they?
Fingers crossed she'll be looking and feeling better tomorrow, let us know how she is xx
