I have been leaving my horses out at night and then bringing them in at lunch time to get away from the heat and the flies, well last night when they were out it poured down - thunder, lightning - the lot!
I went out this morning to get things ready and they were all by the gate shivering and looking at me, one was banging on the gate.
I brought them into their stables, they were soaked in their fly rugs with mud up to their ears, three of them were shivering from head to foot really badly, now I feel bad!
Tucked them up in their wicking rugs gave them a feed, they are happy now - whimps!
