Even more awful, a friends horse died in the blaze, he was the most gorgeous baby apaoloosa.....such a waste. Only just heard this morning and feel sick to the stomach for her...

At least the firefighters managed to rescue some - little consolation, but I'm sure they tried their best.

This is tragic, I used to stable down on this farm and my god mother owns it. I know alot of the people whos horses tragically died and some of the horses too.

Its understood that an electrical fault sparked the blaze in which rabbits, ducks and chickens where also lost. My heart goes out to everyone.Also, from what I understand,One of the victims was a pony on loan that the girl only had for 3 days. To make things worst, a reporter was down there 1st thing Monday morning to take photos of the dead horses

This is so tragic, and as you say, every horse owners worst utter nightmare. I hope those that were saved do make a recovery, RIP animals, and condolences to all those who lost.
