Weird question but why do you think horses often acquire injuries on the inside of their hind legs? Always a kick?
Possibly. It’s not just a little scrape.Brushing injury, or higher? Or when the horse is lying down the lower hoof catching the inside thigh?
Latest one is an unshod two year old.Raised clenches on an inside edge can cause a nasty injury
Sorry your pony has been kicked. That’s most likely what’s happening then. They kick close to I guess.These are kicks. The offending pony has been removed. Thankfully these (and several others) were all superficial and no joints kicked.
ETA - culprit was a barefoot 12hh section A rescue mare who has been here 8 months without issue, victim is my 14.2 mare who did not retaliate...
