Weird question but why do you think horses often acquire injuries on the inside of their hind legs? Always a kick?

These are kicks. The offending pony has been removed. Thankfully these (and several others) were all superficial and no joints kicked.
ETA - culprit was a barefoot 12hh section A rescue mare who has been here 8 months without issue, victim is my 14.2 mare who did not retaliate...

Sorry your pony has been kicked. That’s most likely what’s happening then. They kick close to I guess.

Bailey got kicked on the inside of her thigh by another horse, she was very lame, vet stapled cut but no xrays taken at the time.

She continued to be lame so I insisted on an xray and she had a request with a hairline fracture.
