Ok, watching this made me nearly as sad as watching the thing originally. So many people watching this and commenting 'stupid people not riding on the pavement' when they (and Rick the owner of the channel) DON'T DO THEIR RESEARCH! He has so many followers, many of whom are younger people that watch this, think he's good because SOME of his vids are and then assume that everything he says is right.

oh this annoys me so much!

I can't believe he just said that about riding hats: "If you put a brainbucket on your head, and you've got no brains to use, then it don't friggin matter". :eek3:
I'm sure the man has a good sense of humour in his other videos, but that accident is no laughing matter and the riders were certainly following the Highway Code. That car was going much too fast! The "Dead? Or Dead Slow?" campaign of the BHS was a good effort.

Every time he gets so worked up about riders (particularly women) who wear helmets I can't stop laughing about his silly, pathetic rants. I find them quite entertaining. Anyway, he does have a point in quite a few of his videos (when he is not ranting about helmets ;) ) regarding horse welfare, actions of riders / handlers.

The irony of how he uses air quotes when saying about how in the law is to ride with a hat and you have to ride on roads and calling 1 in 5 of us stupid, yet doesn't know the difference between Superman and Christopher Reeve is not lost.

I have had a beautifully moronic reply to one of my comments. It looks like Mr. Dick Bore has a whole army of retards backing him up. I can see how not wearing helmets makes perfect sense.... :D

Wonder if he ever sponsors the Darwin Awards? :D

I can't watch this because my iPad can't cope anymore ( poor sad old thing) but I think I know which video you mean and if it's the one I think the guy is a total idiot and not worth getting wound up about. :D

I can't see his video but I've seen the original one. Could someone explain what he's saying? And what have riding hats got to do with the car being the wrong side of the road?

Has he made similar comments about motorcyclists wearing helmets? Has he ever seen a rider/motorcyclist after an "accident" when they weren't wearing a helmet and unfortunately suffered a head injury?
I also feel angry and sad that so many are "siding" with him and saying that the two innocent riders were idiots deliberately putting their horses in danger. And I suppose he thinks the driver was right to drive off without checking/calling emergency services/helping... unbelievable

Youtube recommended me a few of this guys videos in the past. He's a straight up misogynistic know-it-all. He things women know nothing about horses. Women, helmets and pink riding equipment are literally the devil to him.

He's right in SOME of his assessments on his other videos, but I can't get past how much hatred and vitriol he has just because someone possesses a vagina.

He says that he doesn't care what people think, but then starts flinging moronic insults in the direction of whoever doesn't agree with him, or points out any glaring inaccuracy.

Such as this -

Think Like A Horse
Hey dips**t, who puts on your pants? you are too stupid to even do that, I put a link to the UK article, NO S**T it is in the UK please go play on the highway and do us a favor. smh

The man is an absolute cretin! I think his cat would agree too. :D

Typical Yankee attitude, and same goes for many of the negative posters on the videos. They seem incapable of understanding that different countries have different road rules (the major one being that many countries Drive on a DIFFERENT side of the road). Total idiots. I unfortunately got involved in an argument on FB the other night with another 'horseman' of Rick's ilk, who had such a superior attitude and basically parroted the sentiment that helmets create bad horses and riders who think we are invincible. Apparently because I wear a helmet meant I was ok with getting broken legs or a broken neck?!

I have been waiting for it, here comes Miss "I know it ALL":

:D ;)

'If I ride in a place that has no trail, you know what, I MAKE a trail'

We call that trespass and criminal damage in this country.

This whole set of videos is a well known psychological phenomenon. Nobody wants to believe it could happen to them, so they look for any excuse to blame the victims.

There are some huge egos in the US, making ten minute videos about a British road accident, aren't there? I think the girl and the bloke are a match made in heaven. They should get married.

I watched it until he said they were against the flow of traffic. Can someone point out this is the UK and the car is on the wrong side of the road!!

What a tihck idiot HE is!

Very wrong there. Seen some of his other videos and he's usually right although sometimes I think he must just be in a bad mood that day as the video he's ranting about isn't that bad, but he really shouldn't try commenting on a video when he doesn't understand the situation properly.

I did, and got a lot of abuse from him and his little, brainless (so no helmets required!) buddies.

No surprise he has a gun channel, I bet he's a good ole Republican-voting, God fearing, all-American, lifelong NRA member. And therefore, he is right about everything. Moron.
