Good grief, how sad for all involved.
Must have been bad for the police to have to shoot the other one instead of waiting for a vet. I hope he did a good clean job

How sad- i don't think i could ever keep my horses by a main road- id be too nervous. I hate driving past them too.

How terrible

I was driving on a main road near southwell on friday after just coming off the a46 and there was a coloured cob trotting down the road all by itself without a person leading it or anywhere around. It looked terrified and obviously was feral as had all its mane etc in knots. I'm not sure what happened to it as I was driving the oposite way and there was nothing I could do

its a horrible road at the best of times, so sad for all concerned.
