Horse's legs clicking

My horse seems to click when it moves.
I do it sometimes when I walk (my toes/ankles)
Any ideas whats causing the horse to do it? Anyones elses do it?

some horses click as air moves from the joint. thats what i was told when my tb's back legs used to click.

Hi, my ex-racehorse has a click in his near stifle. It is due to a lax patellar ligament and so long as your horse is sound, its not a problem. I found lots of up hill work and work over poles has really improved his condition as it has built up the muscles to support it. hope that helps.

Hi, thats really interesting, ive noticed the young horses at the yard where i keep my horses do this when lunged, their back legs seem to click, so is it just because they arent used to work and need to build up their muscles?
