It is very seldom that I stray from the Hunting Forum but this thread is really so confusing and extraordinary that I felt a comment was called for.
All horses stabled should be mucked out once a day bed put up round the walls and then skipped out at least twice.
Apart from anything else it does not do the horses feet any good and the ammonia from their staling causes breathing problems.
I also saw a reference to trolls - we have the TROLL SMELLER PERSIVANT on the hunting forum that draws the coverts and very quickly vaporises said trolls.
