Horses Peeing, Does Your's ?

Mine does both every time we are out, doesn't matter if we are out for 30 minutes or 3 hours he still does both. I always know when he needs the loo as he pulls off to one side to find just the right patch and that can takes ages sometimes.
 
My mare does not wee or poo while we are out, only once have I known her to do both and I think that was because we went on a long fun ride and were out for hours.

Thank you alliersv1 he is ok in himself not drinking more than normal. His sheath looks quite clean but will get the vet to have a look. His stable isn't any wetter either, he seems to prefer to pee outside. His old owner did comment that he doesn't pee much in his stable. Fingers crossed it's normal for him.

Forgot to mention, but my lad wasn't drinking any more or less than normal either :)
 
The vet said that it's probably normal for him, if anything changes and I'm concerned then I can take in a sample. She says as he has no other symptoms and his age it's unlikely to be cushings. So to keep an eye on him for any changes. So she's put my mind at rest.

Much the same as my vet then, although we'd done some tests.

Both of mine do this. It's like, 'be prepared'. My boy is also pretty good at shows. He seems to know when it's nearly his turn to go into the arena, and pees in anticipation. I am sure he goes much better with an empty bladder, and it must be more comfortable.
 
Mine has never weed whilst being ridden and has never,ever,ever in 5 years of owning him,pooed whilst in any indoor or outdoor school whilst
being ridden! He'll occasionally do 1 poo on a hack but clearly thinks any school/arena is a no-no!
 
Mine keeps peeing everytime i go to bring her in from the field haha

all i have to do is shout and she will take a few steps, stop have a wee then carry on up to say hello!! :o
 
Mine has never weed with me on board,....yet! She always pees in her stable - every singletime,....and usually poos! But only ever pooed when I was on board once - she must have been very desperate!! Also, in the field,...she poo's in one or two places in the field only! Anything else would just be rude ;)
