horses pelvis

My horses pelvis appears to be larger than a normal horses and sticks out he is a warmblood/throughbred what does it mean if they have a bigger pelvis ...advantages and disadvantages? He is carrying enough weight...if his weight/muscle drops then the pelvis sticks out alot more..just interested thanks

Many warmbloods can be quite angular and they only have to drop a couple of kilos to look like hat racks. A little more weight and it should be less obvious.
