So since Maisie has been with me (5weeks) she always pulls faces.
Field owner - her son and me have come to the agreement that we don't actully think she knows what shes doing? I know that sounds silly but she will put her ears back at us and then follow us around the field, or she will put her ears back and then decide that she wants cuddles or an itch behind her ear or on her face or something. Its really strange.
She has tried to bite once but that was because she was VERY stressed out with lots of people around her and she didn't know anyone as she was new, but that was it.
Also she is still so baby, no longer need a head collar and lead rope, if you hold her under her cheekbone/neck bit like a foal she follows. She is 5 now raced 2years ago.
She is so funny and loves it, if you run down the field she will run anf follow after you. She is settling in so well, but its just a strange thing she does when she puts her ears back.
She will put her ears back and try and get you to itch her etc. She doesnt bite or kick anything like that.
Anyone had this before? Horses pulling faces but don't actully mean there agressive? Well shes not anyway.
