horses shot in their fields- warning for NW peeps.

just a note for anyone in the area to be aware of some sicko people that are about.

we had an incident in the north wales/wirral area a few weeks ago where a pony was shot whilst out in the field.

last night FOUR more horses at a different location (about 1/5mile from my neds yard

) were shot several times.

it has been reported to the police and the horses are at the veterinary centre up the road being treated...

please be vigilant for any suspicious events if you are in these areas!

Awful,my mare was shot by an air rifle in the field a number of years ago not only did it cost me approx 1500 in vets bills but more importantly we very nearly lost her and did loose the foal that she was carrying at the time as he was born blind which the vet said may have been caused by the huge amount of drugs that were pumped into her whilst pregnant.
Obviously nobody was ever caught for this.

have just spent thje whole of my lunch hour calling/messaging everyone i know to try to get as many people on the look out as poss.
its bad enough when your horses are hurt never mind finding out someone did it on purpose to them...
i dont know what i would do if it was one of mine. and if i ever found out who it was......i honestly think i would lose the plot.
