God, this just seems to be happening so often at the moment. I am notts way, was thinking of moving mine to my own grazing, but beginning to wonder whether livery has the added advantage of a bit more security.

The best precaution is to have horses both freezemarked and also micro-chipped so that they can be identified. Freezemarking ensures the horse can be easily identified by anyone as it is easy to read a freezemark.
