If so what was the horses reaction?
We were out on a pleasure ride today and one of the other horses seems to have disturbed a was nest. They then swarmed around Danny's legs (before I even knew what was happening) thankfully only one stung him on the inside of his knee. As I am sure you can imagine the reaction was slightly rodeo pony, but he was so good he obviously realised I was still on and it was smooth although rather large bucks and kicks, so I didn't leave the saddle.
I managed to trot him away then got off once clear to check his leg (which was and is fine) he was just jumpy if anything touched his leg.
Although the comments I got were along the lines of omg... How did you stay on.
So, I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else. It is the first time it has happened to me.
