Horses with a bump between eyes? ( pic)

Just for fun but can anyone tell me what it means when a horse has a raised slight bump on it's forhead a bit like a roman nose but higher up. I am sure a friend once said it meant something personality wise but can't remember what. Henna has a slight bump and is quite a confident little madam and I wondered just for fun was the bump relevant :)

This will even out as she ages and the skull changes shape.

My youngster had a much more prominent bump which has now totally disappeared - sorry if you hoped it was extra brains!!
 
I did think stubborness ;)

She is a very confident little lady and has a habit of standing her ground when asked to move backwards, you can wave your arms and jump and shout and she just looks at you to say " so what" And no I don't make a habit of shouting but it was an experiment as to how bold she is.

She actually need to stop mugging walkers and I am not sure how to teach her that - she is very friendly but does ping around and it can be quite intimidating. The vet came to microchip her and remove her staples the other day and did say it's common foal behaviour and she'll grow out of it but I do hope this happens before I get sued for having a dangerous horse!! ( I am going to make an electric fence walk way so please don't worry about the ramblers ;)

So then when do their necks catch up with their legs and enable them to reach the ground to eat properly?
 
My share horse has that bump between her eyes, as you can see in this picture

My friend did tell me the old wives tale in regards to it, but I can't remember!

ETS: and if it does mean the horse is stubborn, that would be about right for Lucy!
 
It does actually have a name, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is!!

I have found this:

Bumps and Bulges

1. A bulge between the eyes:
These horses are usually unpredictable, often slow learners. Lessons must be repeated often for the message to sink in. Require patience.

2. A bump (which is rather broad), just below the eyes:
Horses with the manifestation may be somewhat inflexible and resistant under pressure.

3. “Quirk bump” (a small bump several inches below the eyes):
May indicate a horse who is predictable most of the time buy who may be given to sudden and inexplicable shifts of behavior. These horses often have trouble with submissive training. With understanding, patience and clear commands, you can overcome their unpredictability.
 
Thank you for the Jibbah - that'll be her mum's Arab blood coming throught then :) Bless her she'll need extra large hankies then !

Just been out to let them down to the lush bottom paddock for their afternoon nibble and she seems less prominent on closer inspection now.

Now for the question when does the neck catch up with the legs........?
 
Giant foal :)

Oliver is 5 and animal crazy, he wants a pony but until we sell youngster next spring he'll have to make do with cuddling foal. Youngster ( Willow) is a 3 year old New Forest who is going to be Henna ( foal) weaning companion to ease the transition and Mum won't dissapear she will just be other side of elec fence and allowed to wean gradually to avoid mastitus- thats the plan we will play it by ear and adjust accordingly :)

We hope to find Ollie a nice been there done that pony but they are hens teeth or mega money so we'll see. He'll just have to be my groom and make do with being led around on Trixie my mare or maybe Willow will suprise us and be a calm quiet kids pony but a young pony and a young child aren't a combination I would want plus Willow loves to jump and jumps like stink a true escapologist so probably better be a PC pony. Ho hum.
