When do yours flare up?

Mine is usually absolutely fine in full work until about may/ June time, and he's always ridden with a full nose net.

When it starts to get bad he goes straight onto ventipulmin, and then we're fine.

This year, he's already started to flare up???? Has anyone else got this at the moment?

It's only blooming march!!!

My horse's allergies used to start in March which suggests tree pollen although the two allergy panels we did failed to identify a tree. Infact they identified stuff that did not flower until July - Sept!

Allergies can get worse over time sadly. I hope your boy is just having an unusual flare up and it settles until his normal afflicted period!

I'm in the same situation as you. My mare is normally rideable until mid April, but this year she is already showing breathing difficulties during work and has been for weeks now. Had always put it down to rape seed, but it is not out yet! Thats what happens when we have a nice spring.
