was just trying to find somewhere to get some liquid paraffin to help in the war against mud fever and came across this entertaining description of its uses ...

"For treatment of constipation and fur balls in horses, cattle, dogs and cats."

Could you just imagine a horse coughing up a fur ball :D:D:D
 
My mare racked up a £1k vet bill due to ingesting fur :eek: She had been grooming her friend and swallowing the hair (the dozy tart) :o. It balled up in her stomach :( and caused a rumbling colic until she eventually passed it out the other end, Only my horse could be that daft :rolleyes:
 
blimey Rebel, not heard of one doing that before :eek:

The most my boy ever gives his mates is a quick nibble of the withers, one of my cats on the other hand has the ability to consume half it's body weight in hair then zoom off backwards depositing furballs around the place :cool:
