Horseshoes road studs? what studs do you have?

As above what studs do you have & why?

Ive always had road studs & i dont no why just because everyone else does i suppose i no others who just have nails Whats the best for you? I just hack out so am i wasted a extra £5 each time for these

I have pins, like they use for police horses as my boy is large with slightly disproportionately small get so slips easily. Don't cost me extra

I just have road nails. I now do very little road work but what I do is slippy steep slopes. Also I have an older horse who wears out shoes very quickly so the nails just give that extra grip.

When my youngsters get shoes I won't start them off with road nails but now I've used them for older horse I wouldn't be without them for her

i don't use road nails as found them a bit useless but do have the pins in the back feet which have saved my bacon many a time!
