Horsewagon - Pre sale mechanical checks

Hi Does anyone know of an organisation who would be willing to do a mechanical check on a wagon before I commmit to purchase. The main motoring organisations (AA, RAC) do these for cars but I'm not aware of anyone who will do it on a 7.5 tonne wagon.

Has anyone done this before buying o know of anyone who does. The plate runs out in four weeks so I'm keen to check it is mechanically safe and road worth

I think OHTO do but can't vouch for the service...and there is a place in essex that cover most of east anglia

I would get the person who is going to maintain it to look it over If you dont have someone you need to find a comercial vehicle repairer (find out who uses who in your area for horseboxes a personal recomendation is oftern good) and ask them to vet it...

Wagon is a few hundred miles away so I want to send someone independent to look before I travel so I'm looking for an reliable descrete trustworthy organisation
