Yes WandaMare thats what i thought They were the most reasonable at my local tack shop and looked good quality to me but I've not ahd to buy new rugs for ages! Was hoping to go back and get one today but realised the tack shop shuts at 5 so will go tomorrow and purchase one!

Originally I just had the lightweight turnout but last winter bought the medium turnout, and also the detachable neck cover which fits both rugs. They've lasted well and I would expect to get at least another couple of years out of them which is excellent for the price

I have the stable rug, excellent value washes well but bought the 1200 denier LW turnout in navy nice fit etc a little heavier feeling than I expected so expected it to pperform really well, I didn't one afternoon of heavy showers and Len came in soaked and shivering this was in July still using it a bit but put his rambo duo shell on if there heavy rain forecast.

I can't decide whether to buy a LW and let her use that then go straight into HW pr buy a MW and hope it isn't too heavy too soon. She is an oldie at 29 though so may appreciate the MW more?

Or anyone any 6ft turnouts they don't require?

I use the Amigo Medium weight on my wimp. In winter I add a 100gram liner (its actually a premier equine one). This works really well and kept him warm and dry all last winter.

I have got the 600 denier LW for Marco. i am very pleased with it, It has nylon lining which doesn't rub which is good for marco cos he had rubbed shoulders from wearing winter rugs. I like it cos the can't really overheat in it as its so thin. so if weathers unpredictable, its great!

Although the downside is mine does leak when rain is heavy.
