Well seeing that my 5 didn't want to stay in this morning and tbh I would perfer them to go and streach their legs anyway. Weather has been very heavy rain all day here and we are just under water as is most people I expect. So in they came at 4 pm and the little pony in a full neck rhino is totally dry not a drop off water underneath, 2 horses in their Rambos well say no more they are as dry as toast even one being a lightweigh. Pony in a weatherbetta full neck was soaked through and the rug has hardly been used as tbh I hate the fit and a pony in a rhinegold totally soaked. Not impressed.

Thank you horseware great rugs as normal and shame on the other 2 makes.
 
Me too generally, although have to say mine is out in a Townfields own brand one, and that is just as good for him (as well as being considerably cheaper!) :D
 
Mine now have weatherbeetas because theyre half the price of horsewares, and they are bone dry. Even old ones Ive had washed etc. Its my premier equines that arent as reliable!
 
Our pony has been out in a Rhino pony "wug" (no fill) which is umpteen years old and, as ever, he is dry and warm underneath it despite 5 hours of heavy rain. Great rugs!
 
when i had my horse i also used horseware/amigo rugs and loved them. i have a horseware coat that is also brilliant, keeps me warm and dry and was worth the fortune i paid out for it :D
 
My mare was out over night in her amigo mio medium weight and she was dry as a bone this mornings, my fave rug brand by a mile. Luckily for me my welsh A came with a full wardrobe of horseware rugs, and under rugs! Realised how fab they are and have now kitted out my girl with a set. Worth the pennies definitely :)
 
I have the youngtster out in a Shires m/w combo and he was toasty warm, and my mare + mums sec Dx are in Masta m/w's, and are dry and cosy. I'm massively impressed with the Shires one, a £35 bargain jobby I got at Burghley 2 winters ago, and it should see the baby through next winter too! Its great!
 
They are fab rugs, it has to be said. The Amigo ones are great value and still keep horses bone dry. My pony has had his rhino for years and has just had it put on tonight despite not really needing it all winter!!!

I hate Weatherbeetas to be honest, the name is very miseleading! Lol. i did buy one for my pony a few years back as thought his rhino was a bit snug but the weatherbeeta is horrid, the lining seems to slip back, it just fits badly so I have resorted to the rhino which fits perfectly (only seems snug if pony's a little fat!! Lol)
 
I splashed out ( excuse the pun) and bought my mare a Rambo original lightweight, no fill and a detachable neck cover at the beginning of April. It has been worth its weight as she has remained totally dry and warm through out this horrible weather and my gelding is in his 1200d Amigo with detachable neck cover and again, is completely warm and dry.

IMO horseware turnout rugs are worth every penny. I do like weatherbeeta's as well but they are nowhere near as robust. You get what you pay for and I dont mind paying for a rug that does the job it's supposed too. So another big thumbs up for Horseware.
