Hi all, after wearing out my original pair of Horseware riding tights I have just received my new pair. The fabric is very different to the first pair - first ones were strong, sturdy and thick enough not to show knickers through them. New ones are thinner (although thicker than some other brands I have seen) and I would say more like leggings than the originals. I can just about see my knickers through them as well but can probably get away with it as I wear long tops.

Anyone else noticed the difference? They fit really well and look smart but am concerned they won't last as long as the originals, especially as they were same price (£55) as when I bought the first ones two years ago.

I haven't got Horseware riding tights, but I was just having a conversation about how manufacturers release a new product, such as boots, jackets or breeches which are well made and good quality, then 2 years later, they release the 'improved version, which must be a code for cheaper textiles and less features.
