I've just bought one of these for my new horse. It's the one with the attached neck cover, but it doesn't have any fixings apart from the front velcro and clip. Seemed to fit fine when I tried it on him, but after the first night had slipped back and the neck cover was nearly strangling the poor chap! So last night fitted those clip on belly straps, one of them had pulled away from the lining this morning, it had still slipped back and he was still half strangled. Put it on with elastic surcingle and gel pad tonight, but just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Shame, because he's really cosy in it, but not much good if he's going to die of strangulation!

I have one but I don't use it any longer for exactly the same reason- it strangles my horse! He's mostly TB too so has a skinny neck... got knows what kind of horse it was designed for?

Mine is TB and his does slip down but seemed fine with it... it's on 3rd winter... by horseware... thing is it's velcro at the neck part and twist buckle at fronts. Is yours nylon? Mine is cotton... Materials vary.

Mine is cotton too, fabric doesn't seem thick enough on the neck which makes it wrinkle and crease and then slip down. The Weatherbeeta ones look more like the neck piece keeps its shape.

I have the 300g full neck cotton under rug and have had no problems at all with it slipping! He has a rambo jumbo wug over the top with the half neck so whether that somehow helps to keep it in place or not i dont know.

Mines a warmblood x and has a fair amount of muscle over his neck though
