Hi there

after many years of happiness with Rambo rugs i bought a Mio around 3 weeks ago . Now i realise it is more of a budget rug than the Wugs and Duos i have but im having big problems with it slipping.

Basically it slips around to the left, so much that it is almost hanging of the horse, and near enough unusable. I have tried it under other rugs to see if they will stablise it but this dosnt work. i have emailed Horseware but had no response so am quite angry..

Has anyone else had this problem?

My mio also slips. But i've had a under rug under these past few days and its been fine

hmmm, yes i havent tried it with a rug underneath, it is a 350 (?) g tho so dont really want to use another rug with it, is yours the full neck version?

Want to get as much feedback as poss, as i really dont think they are fit for use as a rug on their own..

Yes.

I swear by Horsewear rugs and still have 3 of the original green ones with the cotton lining. The Mio is next to useless, regardless of being used as under rug or a top rug.

My Mio slips too :-(

this is not good then, i thought it couldnt be just mine and thought it was strange i hadnt heard back from them..

As far as im concerned i paid £70 for a rug that i cant use properly, my horse is clipped out and i want him covered all over, not just one half!! I will contact Horsewear again on Monday and if anyone wants me to add them to my email please PM me.

Thanks
Keren

Same thing here I'm afraid. I went for a budget one for the first time - won't do that again.

I absolutely love my horseware rugs, I've used them for years (one is actually 14 years old) and my field looks like an advert for them.

Not at all impressed with the Mio!!
