west wittering which is south of Chichester or hayling island will be your closest

Wittering's gorgeous but has limited hours between May & September - either before 9am or after 6pm

Wittering is lush. Easy too as you just drive down the A3..

I've heard Wittering is lovely, but where do you park..?

Hayling you can ride before 10am and after 7pm May -September. There are two big carparks for lorries to park in. The West end of the island is sand dune like, so soft sand, as you go further east it gets more stoney.

However if you ride at low tide, it is all flat soft sand and excellent for a good ole gallop!

I think (having had friends do this) you can park at a private yard which has direct private access onto the beach (I'm guessing you just ring them etc) as Wittering itself doesn't allow loading/unloading on their premises
