I'm an avid blog reader, and enjoy reading H&H's Hovis blogs on Fridays as they make me smile. I'm not massively keen on the competition blogs as it's really a whole world I know very little about (I find myself googling everything!) - but I'd like to know what other blogs everyone might read and enjoy?

I'm also thinking about starting one myself to document my progress with my pony, to serve as an entertaining read for anyone who's interested (I was always told I had an 'entertaining' writing style and have an English degree - so should be able to produce something half decent :D ), but more for me when I'm having a bad day to re-read my posts and remind myself how far I've come. If I do I'll post the website link in case anyone wants a read. :)

I love blogs! Read all the Horse and Hounds ones, but never know where to find them! Or the ones I find seem to due a slow death!!!

I considered it with my boy, but my writing style is awful! So decided against it! I you have any blogs that you read and feel are worth sharing let us know. :)

Thanks - I'm always searching for new ones so if I find any I'll post links. Going to set up my own this weekend :)

I've blogged for years, though it is much more just a diary for myself so I can look back and see the foals from when they were born to out competing in their new homes.

I've started following Phoebe Buckley's recently and enjoy it -

I have a random facebook one which is my ramblings of being an amatuer dressage rider and aspiring judge:

Probably not your cup of team due to not enjoying the competing ones but I tend to focus on specific movements/issues in my training and relate them to judging. I a a bit sporadic on ym updating as I only write when I think I have something interesting to say!

Ooh I love a good blog . As new rider/owner would love to hear of any in this vein. Would like to hear all about the trials and tribulations of new horsemanship :D

Liked and following! :)

I put a couple of show reports on here and other forums about my twenty odd stone self, moronic Welsh pony and a 1986 ramshackle Ford Transit horsebox trying to break in to the inhand showing world. Someone sent my posts to a magazine and they are printing a chapter a month :) I have no 'writing' experience but have found it fun

Great posts! Had me giggling throughout - hope your box is behaving itself!

Tales of the dressage diva highland and his diminutive brother are recorded here:

Well suited to lovers of hairy native ponies which do dressage and other things, while making random allusions to geek culture. Of absolutely no interest to any one else.

It's a perfect read for me :) You can't beat a levitating Highland.

I started one on FB Myself ☺️

I follow quite a few on FB and HH I just find blogs more realistic then what is shown sometimes in magazines, Internet etc

Amazing. I'm so there!

And welcome you are too. Don't let the little Daemon bite you though ;)

Thank you kindly. He's a good boy, and he does enjoy his levitational antics!

I also follow "the hotblooded highland" on fb and enjoy the many pictures of hairy ponies defying gravity and most of the geek references (I'm only a casual geek so some of the more niche ones go over my head mind!) and also follow Rockley Farm. Did used to follow mugwump chronicles and beckybeanwrites but neither of them are updated all that frequently anymore.

Did play with the idea of attempting documentation of the adventures of his highness and the three legged devil cat but got as far as getting confused by blogspot before my shamefully bad internetting skills failed me and I gave up...
