what colour tie and jodhpurs would you wear with this jacket

navy tie, and cream, beige or canary jodhpurs, imho. but i'm a traditionalist!

also iv seen a lot of matching scrunches personally i don't like them do you have to wear them or can you just tie your hair with a discreet bobble and hairnet

You don't need a matching scrunchy, as long as your hair is tidy. If it's long I think putting it in a neat bun (or doubled-over pony tail) looks good.

No!!!! Don't do it - scrunchies are evil. As long as hair is neat in a hairnet looks far better.

I'm also a bit of a traditionalist so would absolutely go with cream/beige jods. However I do like a little colour and always ride in a stock for SJ - I have several, for my navy jacket I have a cream stock, and with my tweed which is kind of browny colour I use either a navy one or a burgundy one which matches J's burgundy numnah for SJ....I am watching a green one on ebay as Roo has a green numnah for SJ. Sometimes for SJ will go with navy jacket and coloured stock.
For dressage I do still use my coloured stocks and my tweed, or navy jacket and cream stock.
